McFeely's McFeely's was founded in 1978 by William J. McFeely III, starting out by selling domestic and exotic hardwoods to local wood workers. As the business grew, millwork services were offered along with an ever increasing variety of lumber. By 1985, McFeely’s Hardwoods and Lumber (as it was then known) was also carrying top quality hardware for its local woodworkers.

Through tragedy, dedication, and hard work, the product line evolved into fasteners and wood working tools, including the famous Square Drive Screws. In the Autumn of 1990, lumber operations were shut down to allow complete concentration on the growing Mail Order operation.

McFeely’s published its first full color catalog in the Fall of 1991. It is regarded by our customers as one of the best sources of woodworking information and products, as well as Square Drive Screws and other hardware.
